Synthetic industrial gear oil based on polyalkyleneglycol Eurol® Syntan is a fully synthetic oil based on poly-alkylene glycols for the lubrication of all types of heavily loaded gearing, like hypoid and worm gears. Eurol® Syntan has excellent anti-oxidation, anti-wear, anti-rust and high pressure properties. It has minor tendency for building foam and has a naturally high viscosity index. Eurol® Syntan is durable and extends the life of the machinery. It allows extended change intervals and therefore reduces the costs of maintenance. Eurol® Syntan cannot be mixed with mineral oils. It is advisable to rinse the system prior to changing to Eurol® Syntan. Eurol® Syntan can only be mixed with similar synthetic products formulated with poly-alkylene glycols. Eurol® Syntan may not be brought into contact with aluminum (alloy) gears an axes. Aluminum housing can be exposed to Eurol® Syntan.
