DETAILED DESCRIPTION Crossing conveyors are a group of horizontal transport devices used mainly to change the direction of load motion perpendicularly or the height of the working transport line. Two types of devices are used for that purpose: roller conveyors and chain conveyors which cross with one another. One of the conveyors is lifted by a relevant lifting device and it puts down or collects the cargo in the way providing it with lateral movement. An advantage of these devices is the possibility of installing them on a small area and of connecting two transport lines with different transport directions.
