This Vane Switch is designed to detect a ferrous target (vane) passing through the central slot of the Glass Filled Nylon housing. The housing contains a built-in system of magnets and a fully sealed proximity switch from our ES-4 Series with SPCO / SPDT (Form C) , volt free, hermetically sealed contacts. It requires the use of a ferro magnetic target such as mild steel to operate. The standard model is designed to be mounted onto a non-ferrous surface. An special version is also available where mounting onto ferrous material cannot be avoided. This versatile switch provides highly reliable continuous monitoring across a wide operating temperature range. Suitable for use in the design of safety functions up to SIL2 or SIL3. Using the latest production methods and materials this product meets global certification requirements and its robust design makes it suitable for use in arduous and hazardous environments.
