ECD40 and ECD40E blast-hole drill rigs are construction equipments that are enhanced with optimized features for improved productivity and reliability. They weigh 28,219 lbs and 29,762 lbs respectively, with identical bit diameter of 2.5"- 4" and rod style of T38 and T45. The drifter fixture obtains similar blow frequency of 2,000-2,500 bpm and maximized force power of 16kw. Engine designs of Cummins 6BTAA5.9C and Caterpillar C7 are also incorporated, with emission fittings of Tier II and III. Their compressors generate 149 pounds per square inch in a 212 cfm free air distribution. A tramming of 0.655 kilogram per square centimeter ground pressure and 600 mm ground clearance is also approximated.
