Material transfer between tanks is done with the help of an electrical or pneumatic chain hoist crane. Usually used in large volume tanks and used in applications with long process time and heavy material weights. The crane control is completed manually by the machine operator with the help of a handheld remote control. The carrying weight capacity can be up to 5 metric tonnes. It is more economical in price than automatic and pneumatic conveying system.
