Description

The Evolis YMCFK ribbon integrates a fluorescing panel (UV) producing grayscale images and text that only appear when the card is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. This ribbon is composed by 5 panels: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Fluorescent and Black. Ultraviolet printing helps secure your cards without compromising their readability. Completely invisible to the naked eye in normal light, the elements printed in UV ink – whether it be photos, logos or text – become visible under UV light. This technology has two major advantages: - It is easy to apply to cards - Cards can be checked quickly and inexpensively with a simple UV lamp. It represents a significant security feature that helps prevent fraud, counterfeiting and forgery. This ribbon is ideal for highly secure government applications. Tested and validated by Evolis R&D and Quality departments, these consumables bring you printing quality and reliability • For single or dual-sided color printing • Ribbon in PET with thin layer of specialized coatings. • 5 whole panels 98mm (3.86’’) length - Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Fluorescent and Black • Printing lifespan: up to 3 years • Compatible with PVC and composite cards • For retransfer technology • In order to prevent UV printing from being visible to the naked eye, two clear RT film panels are needed: one to apply the YMC panels and another one for the F and K panels.
