The Evolis High Trust® SO-KO ribbon is the perfect fit for banking applications wherepreprinted cards are personalized. The SO-KO monochrome ribbon consists of a silvermatt resin (S) panel and a black resin (K) panel which are both followed by a protectiveoverlay (O) panel. The silver matt panel offers top-notch printing quality of characters and graphics on the dark card front side, whilethe black panel makes it possible to print specific banking characters such as the CVV number on the signaturepanel at the card back. Both overlay varnish panels offer an additional protection of the printing for a better carddurability.Tested and validated by Evolis R&D and Quality departments, these consumables bring you printing quality andreliability. • For dual-sided printing • Ribbon in PET with thin layer of specialized coatings • 4 whole panels Silver, Overlay, Black, Overlay 98 mm (3.86’’) lengh • Overlay thickness: 1.1 microns • Compatible with PVC or composite cards • For thermal transfer technology The RFID system allows the automatic ribbon recognition by the printer (improved user friendliness). These ribbons shall be capable of functioning for up to 1 year after purchase if stored in a cool, dry environmentand having remained unopened from the original packaging. Temperature of storage must be between 5-25°C(41 - 77°F) and at RH between 50-70%. Once opened these ribbons shall have a lifetime of 3 months if stored undercool, dry conditions.
