The iANT214 is a vertically polarised directional antenna that is ideal for point-to-point links. Part of Extronics’ iANT2xx range of standard antennas, the iANT214 is optimised for use in WLAN installations in the 2.4GHz/5.8GHz spectrum for IEEE802.11 wireless networks or 2.4GHz/5.8GHz wireless mesh Ethernet networks.
Features
Vertically polarised or dual slant
Suitable for Groups I, II, III and -40°C to +80°C
The iANT214 has been assessed by Extronics engineers as meeting the international intrinsic safety standards for simple apparatus. This means it is safe to use in hazardous areas when connected to a suitable certified wireless device with an intrinsically safe RF output, such as the iWAP107 or other solutions using the iSOLATE501.
The iANT214 antenna cannot be used in the hazardous area when connected to an RF source that is not intrinsically safe.
Easy to mount
The iANT214 can be easily mounted with the provided aluminium bracket. A 316L stainless steel bracket is also available.
Optimised for WLAN installations
The iANT214 is optimised for use in WLAN installations in the 2.4GHz/5.8GHz spectrum for IEEE802.11 wireless networks or 2.4GHz/5.8GHz wireless mesh Ethernet networks.
Indoor and outdoor use
The iANT214 can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is made from durable weather-resistant material, including an outdoor weatherproof N-type connector or SMA connector for the dual slant version. Rated to IP67 and with a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, the iANT214 is suitable for most applications.
