The long experience matured in the production of hank to cone winding machines certainly makes Fadis the world’s most recognized company in this field. Taking its first steps back in 1960 by starting its activity with this type of machines, Fadis has played and still plays the leading role in the constant research for innovation and in the prompt response to all market requirements.
Thanks to their electronic yarn guided winding platform, introduced in 2015, the MATRIX D machines have been designed to guarantee a perfect yarn laying that assures an optimal and uniform yarn tension during the subsequent working phases, so as to allow an unwinding without tears.
The MATRIX D machines are equipped with a sturdy hank-holding swift that can support hanks weighing up to 2 kg and with a winding speed of up to 700 m/min (mechanical speed up to 1.000 m/min).
The bobbin formation of the MATRIX D machines is undoubtedly one of their strong points.
Fadis has developed the “MATRIX” electronic yarn guided winding platform where the function of the yarn guide is carried out by an electronic yarn guide system controlled by a step motor, piloted and controlled by one inverter for each single spindle.
Thanks to this unique characteristic it is possible to modify the crossing angle between 8° and 25°, to displace the crossing point of the yarn coils at various winding levels, thus avoiding patterning problems (anti-pattering) and to change the crossing angle according to the bobbin diameter during the package formation thus obtaining packages with excellent unwinding characteristics.
