Description

The LS251 range of laser distance measuring units are designed to provide exceptional services in the measurement of distances on intensely heated surfaces. They are therefore particularly qualified for use in applications such as the measurement of hot, semi-molten steel or perhaps outdoor applications in extremely hot weather and brilliant lighting situations. The meters provide excellent precision and reliability in operations. They are compactly structured. They can determine maximum distances of 500 metres, with an error margin of zero. The LS251 meters provide flawless performances by harnessing the power of red, visible laser rays at wavelengths of 635 nanometers. The specialized, one-of-a-kind measuring process delivers exceedingly accurate results, particularly on intensely heated planes and in environs containing a high quantity of stray or constant light. The devices can accurately measure any natural planes, even liquids. They are adaptable to measuring specialized surfaces where they may be extended to their maximum measuring distance in applications such as measurement of commercial reflector foil. They confirm to IP67 protection criteria, which facilitates their incorporation into automation engineering industries.
