Coal mine continuous miner KSW-460NE

The KSW-460NE is a narrow ranging arm thin seam longwall shearer suitable for bidirectional cutting and loading of coal in longwall operations in underground mines. This shearer can be operated in seams inclined transversely up to 25° in dip and rise direction as well as to 35° longitudinally. The shearer meets the stability and safety criteria for the whole range of face gradients. The shearer is mounted on armoured face conveyors with Eicotrack or Dynatrack type chainless haulage systems. It is manufactured either in standard version or the height of the shearer can be increased by 170 mm, 270 mm or 360 mm respectively, depending on the client’s request. The maximum cutting height of the KSW-460NE shearer amounts to 3.5 m. The stepless adjustment of the cutting range enables the shearer to operate in undulated seams of various thicknesses. The shearer can be fitted with Air & Water Advanced Spraying System (AWASS) to increase safety working conditions. The KSW-460NE complies with the EU directives and can be operated in hazardous conditions underground with different degrees of methane and coal dust explosions hazards. The shearer meets all CE requirements.
