The M-1000iA is FANUC’s largest robot to feature a serial link mechanism, rather than the parallel link mechanism typical of most heavy payload robots. As a result, the M-1000iA gives a wider range of motion in both vertical and longitudinal directions. Moreover, a heavy payload rating, high wrist inertia and flip-over capability, make the M-1000iA perfect for all kind of heavy payload material handling applications (e.g. EV battery handling, lifter, etc.). Control comes courtesy of the latest R-30iB Plus, in addition to the conventional iPendant as a teaching device.
Highlights
Compact but efficient design
With its new designed serial link mechanism, the M‐1000iA shows most efficient inner and outer working space in its class, much more than other heavy‐payload robots.
Complete and easy service integration
As per customer need selected, on‐arm services like pneumatical, electrical and other communication (e.g. Ethernet) can be taylor-made provided by FANUC. Special services are simply and quickly integrated by optional fasteners and modular cable design.
Super strong wrist
The wrist of the M-1000iA supports superior torque and inertia performance, although the wrist design is extremely compact. Much more compact than other robots in its class.
Fast but persistent
Due to the enhanced FANUC servo technology, the M-1000 is not only strong, but also fast, making it ideal for heavy part handling, heavy palletising or packaging and material handling operations.
Excellent weight to payload ratio
An excellent weight (5300 kg) to payload (1000 kg) ratio allows an easy integration, even under difficult installation conditions.
