FANUC's first all stainless steel delta robot The new DR-3iB/6 STAINLESS is FANUC’s first stainless steel delta robot designed to help customers maximise efficiency in picking and packing applications, specifically of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products. The robot is rated IP69K, featuring a fully enclosed stainless steel body that is resistant to the chemicals and high pressure/temperatures required in strict wash-down environments typical of food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Highlights More Throughput The DR-3iB/6 STAINLESS combines FANUC’s industry-leading performance and reliability with a food-safe stainless steel construction. It comes with a 1200mm reach (450mm height) and a powerful four-axis design, allowing it to handle 6kg payloads at high speeds. High-level hygiene standards The stainless steel outer surface assures excellent corrosion resistance, for higher cleaning and hygiene requirements. The optimised, smooth surfaces and the fluoro-rubber gaskets prevent dirt and bacteria accumulation. The robot is rated IP69K and comes with NSF H1 food-grade grease. Two different surface finishings The DR-3iB/6 STAINLESS robot is available with two different surface finishings. Either standard stainless or mirror finishing, both types suitable for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics applications, depending on the market’s requirements. Infinite possibilities iRPickTool for multi-robot control Line tracking and iRVision enable additional robot configuration for high-speed robot interaction on production lines and multi-robot setups.
