FAUDI Aviation microfilters are used wherever there is a demand for high quality, economical and reliable filtration. They are designed to continously remove fine particles such as rust, dirt, sand and pipe scale from aviation fuel system. These highly efficient microfilters are used at refineries, bulk fuel depots, transfer stations and airports, predominantly prior to Filter/Water Separators to protect and prolong coalescer element life. The fuel flows from the coalescer element and enters the separator element from outside to inside. The separator element is manufactured from hydrophobic material and is designed to repel small water droplet that may be carried over from the coalescer element. These small water droplets are retained on the separator element surface until they combine with other droplets and become large enough to fall under gravity into the water collection sump.
