Description

Since the 70’s FELLAR is manufacturing all kind of transmission elements for diesel and electric locomotives. We feel very proud to have designed, manufactured and patented a substitute transmission system for RENFE’s MITSUBISHI 269 locomotives which improves efficiency, allowing all gears are supported in bearings, including motor pinion. We also designed and manufactured the curved teeth couplings (type WN) for this locomotive and individual gear (type AF) wheel. At present, more than 400 of these MT-269 locomotives are still in action transporting goods (type: 705-2000) and passengers (type: 705-2500) satisfactorily. We also manufacture the toothed components and the complete transmission for the RENFE electric locomotive type 250 since more than 25 years. We manufacture the pinions and double-helical ring gears destined to the high-speed motor drives for the SIEMENS locomotive type S252 destined to RENFE and other railway companies. FELLAR manufactures conical groups of individual drives for the wheels of all tractor unit types in suburban railways, both in the GLEASON and KLINGELNBERG system.
