We have designed the GRAVIMIX blending machine FGB 25 for efficient dosing of free-flowing thermoplastic materials. The FGB 25 has the largest capacity of our machines. The FGB 25 is particularly suitable for machines where consistency and a high quality of the finished product is required. Ferlin has used usability and continuity as key principles to develop the GRAVIMIX. This makes the machine extremely reliable and easy to clean. Insight and control The system weighs very accurately and displays the weight of each component again in 0.1 or 1 gram, depending on the type of operation. In addition, it is possible to extend this machine with the FerlinBridge so that all consumption data can be linked to, for example, a MES system. This gives you insight and control over material consumption during production. Models and Solutions Due to the modular construction of the FGB 25 series there are several versions available, with up to eight hoppers with slide valves. Parts that come into contact with the material are made of stainless steel. This FGB series can be upgraded with our conveying system, which has the same characteristics. This provides a complete solution. Economically and user-friendly All components are dosed separately and weighed in the weighing pan, which is equipped with an accurate weighing system. Afterwards the entire batch falls into the mixing chamber and the horizontal mixer provides a homogeneous mixture. A level sensor in the mixing chamber controls the overall cycle.
