Hydraulic forklift for lifting and transporting steel drums of 210 lt. The particular shape of the angled front supports allows the loading and unloading on each type of pallet or platform. The hydraulic lifting system coupled to automatic hooking/unhooking and high maneuverability allows a single operator to handle drums in maximum security. The maximum distance between the ground and the bottom of the drum is 500 mm. Operation: The operator must approach the trolley to the full drum, inserting the bottom of the catch hook under the edge of the drum and act with the foot on the hydraulic lever to lift it. Thanks to the weight of the drum, the hook automatically snaps and locks the drum firmly. To unhook the drum simply place the base of the drum on the ground, pull the the trolley back, then disengage the bottom of the catch that automatically reopens. In the case of empty drums, it may be necessary for a second operator to manually apply pressure on the drum to allow hook activation. The lifter is supplied complete with usage and maintenance manual and regular CE certification.
