The UHP Water Cleaning Core Removal System is designed for the efficient removal of cores from internal and secluded regions of aluminum closed deck blocks. This system optimizes and automates the core removal process, ensuring residue-free workpieces through synchronized control of complementary steps.
The UHP Water Cleaning Core Removal System is designed to optimize and automate the core removal process in aluminum closed deck blocks. Utilizing ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water, this system effectively removes cores from even the most internal and secluded regions. The automation of the process ensures synchronization of all complementary steps, reducing the potential for procedural flaws and resulting in residue-free workpieces.
The system features advanced coordinated control, which minimizes flaws and enhances the efficiency of the core removal process. With a focus on achieving clean results, this machine is crucial for the production of high-quality aluminum engine blocks.
This experience, combined with the collaborative efforts of the CORE 4.0 consortium, ensures the development of a reliable and effective core removal system. CORE 4.0, funded under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, aims to introduce aluminum closed deck engine blocks produced by High Pressure Die Casting Lost Core (HPDC LC) technology to the market. Developed as part of the CORE 4.0 European project, this system is dedicated to de-coring aluminum closed deck blocks. The collaboration with consortium partners FAGOR EDERLAN, TECNALIA, RAUSCHERT, and RENAULT aims to reduce engine weight, lower consumption, and decrease contaminant emissions, aligning with future Euro 7 regulations.
