Tacchella Proflex grinding machines enable round, non-round and polygonal workpieces up to 400 kg to be ground with absolute precision. The series covers grinding lengths from 400 to 1,600 mm with a center height up to 305 mm. TOP PRECISION The workpiece headstock with a fixed or rotating spindle is ideal for live grinding operations and grinding between centers. High-precision bearings with a rounding accuracy below 0.001 mm enable positioning of the workpiece headstock on a swiveling frame. The tailstock is hydraulically driven. It has a safety device for regulating the pressure between the points and the resulting axle load, as well as a micrometric system to correct the workpiece's cylindrical properties. MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY These multi-tasking grinding machines permit the combined use of 2, 3 or 4 conventional grinding wheels (610 and/or 760 mm) or CBN high-speed grinding wheels (400 and/or 500 mm).
