Morara MT ID internal cylindrical grinding machines with a horizontal axis and up to four high-frequency spindles are the perfect solution for drilling and surface grinding of internal diameters and profiles in a single setup. Morara MT ID internal cylindrical grinding machines are available in two sizes and thus offer grinding solutions for every requirement. The grinding head is located on a cross-shaped carriage at the front.
ADVANTAGES
HOW TO BENEFIT FROM MORARA MT ID INTERNAL CYLINDRICAL GRINDING MACHINES
ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
Morara MT ID internal cylindrical grinding machines have a machine bed made of stabilized cast iron or synthetic granite for enhanced rigidity and precision. The maximum overhang load is 500 kg.
MAXIMUM PRECISION
Morara MT ID internal cylindrical grinding machines permit longitudinal movement (Z-axis) and radial movement of the grinding wheel carriage (X-axis). Their "torque" technology ensures ideal control of the machine movements. The motion resolution is only 0.0001 mm. The slides are mounted on high-precision, recirculating ball bearing, linear guides and position control is conducted using an optical Heidenhain scale.
GREATEST RELIABILITY
Morara MT ID internal cylindrical grinding machines use the latest high-frequency spindles with constantly controlled temperature and overload. The spindle is mounted on high-precision angular ball bearings. Rotary movement is effected by direct drive and a progressive, rotary measuring system. Speed is continuously CNC-controlled.
IDEAL ERGONOMICS
The workpiece headstock is fixed and can be used manually for executing cones on a workpiece or rotated from - 10° to + 20° using the B1-axis.
