Control unit for tightening solution with torque/angle current control. Designed and built entirely by Fiam, TPU-C3 advanced model has these features: •I/O connector with 8+ 8 freely programmable signals •RS232 serial port for tightening data transmission •8 tightening monitoring and control program •Automatic recognition of the tool and configuration •Displaying of tightening results: the torque value at the end of each cycle together with time and angle values. •Screw counting (Poka Yoke device) •The tightening results are visualized on the unit display, highlighted by the leds •Detect process anomalies like overtreading and already tightened screws • Storing the outcome of the last 99 tightening •Communication with master PLC and others devices and remote control •It is possible to control the jigs unlocking. The control units allow to set before releasing the jig, making the working station safer •For selfthreading, self-tapping, self-drilling screws, or else where the final torque value is lower than thread forming torque •“Two-phase” tightening Strategy •Solve critical joints: should you have elastic gaskets, rubber elements or other materials, the control unit verifies that these are present or not during the process •To tighten threaded fasteners to a certain height and not to a defined torque "Smart Pro Evo" Settable Soft Start - acceleration ramp and rotation speed • - pre-self-untightening • - post self-untightening • - stop-by time tightening Multiple tightening strategies availables with torque/angle/time control.
