Handheld tightening system with automatic screw feeding:
• Eliminates the manual steps of screw pick and place on the bit/piece
• Ensures the continuous supply of screws which are «shot» automatically
• Reduces tightening times (–35%)
• Interconnects with factory system (INDUSTRY 4.0)
• Ensures less operator fatigue
The combined brushless electric screwdriver can have different torque or torque/angle control systems: with mechanical clutch, current control or with built-in transducer and resolver. These latest technologies allow assemblies with different parameters of torque, speed, etc.: the same tightening system can tighten the same screw on different joints simply by adapting the programs on the coupled unit
Available 2 tightening devices:
• FORWARD BIT STROKE: patented by Fiam, allows the bit to advance automatically and reduces operator fatigue, keeps the screw tip in sight. During tightening phase, the screwdriver head does not touch the component surfaces, thereby avoiding any friction and damage.
• TELESCOPIC DEVICE: allows to reach tightening points in inaccessible spaces or at great depths and therefore inside holes thanks to its telescopic stroke of 40, 60 and 100 mm.
The two built-in sensors make it possible to work with two tightening modes:
– With torque control
– With tightening height control.
The screw feeder ED B: bowl 240 mm in Ø and for screws between 10 and 35 mm in lenght; ensure process reliability and great working autonomy. Has integrated:
– PLC
– Modbus TCP/IP protocol
– EDMI Interface web server for remote connection to the tightening system
- Analogic line pressure switch
-Filter-Regulator-Lubricator unit
