Semi-automatic tightening module

This is a mechanism for fastening and locking of wood windows. An autofeed tightening module MCA for the manual use on the X, Y and Z axes. The solution comprises of an Easy Driver screw feeding system with a PLC, customized screw dimensions and types. The tightening system is installed on a fastening slide fitted on the rail consisting an air nutrunner motor, for tightening with manual head positioning. The air nutrunner has an instant automatic air shutoff to safeguard for the motor-driven parts, a special positioning handle for fastening operations with a start button. The operator only has to move the slide along the rain manually. The handle has a button that lets horizontal lock of slide position and when the right position is achieved. Options available in the tightening strategy are torque or screw height control. The positioning handle has a 'manual switch' for choosing between two different tightening strategies based on screw height or torque.
