The instruments of the V4V, V4I series are multifunction display units accepting either voltage or direct current input signals. They are particularly suitable to display force, pressure, and weight values for process variables and to display analogue outputs of inverters and actuators, etc. Reading scale -1999 +9999 (resolution 8000 points). The instrument set-up and calibration operations are easily carried out with the four keys positioned on the front panel. The carrying out with microprocessor and the use of modern analogue-to-digital conversion techniques enable to obtain excellent performances in terms of calibration easiness, resolution, stability, conversion speed, and cost by enabling the implementation of some functions of interest for the industrial applications (ex. absolute/relative dimension, tool diameter compensation, etc.). The measured dimension may be compared with 2 or 3 intervention thresholds that may be set, the status of which is displayed through a led. There are two analogue outputs, the one in 0÷10V or 10 +10V voltage, the other in 4÷20mA current at a resolution of 12 bits.
Through self-learning calibration it is possible to adapt the input variable amplitude to the wished reading scale.
