The level CAP80 transducer delivers the measure of the fill level for tanks containing conductive and non-conductive liquids (water, water solutions, food liquids, etc.) and solid materials (flours, granulates, powders, etc.).
The measure probe, disguised as cable or shaft, is immersed in the material whereof we will know the level: the electrical capacity present between the probe and the tank is measured, calculated through a microprocessor and converted in continuous analog output 4÷20 mA.
Are available 2 programmable thresholds with relays output.
The analog output calibration is simply accomplished through auto-learning with the keys inside the transducer. The acquisition of the tank minimum and maximum levels could take place in different moments without the duty of fill and empty the tank in the same time.
The capacity level measure adapts preferably to metallic tanks; in case of containers in nonconductive material (plastic, glass-reinforced plastic, concrete, wood, etc.) is necessary to provide a second probe to be inserted inside the tank and connected to the case of the transducer.
The transducer is accommodated in a robust case with thread 1”1/2 GAS, for the fixing.
