The INMARSAT salting tubs are designed to provide a high level of cheese salting thanks to the FIFO system (First In, First Out). For these purposes there are different types of salting tubs built of concrete or stainless steel, depending on the cheese type and desired production level, the available space or specific client needs: Moreover the following parts can complete our salting tubs: control panels, filter kits, salt dispensers, filtration and refrigeration equipment through diatoms or micro-filtration.
One level salting system
Cheese salting and floating there is at the same level. It’s perfectly suitable for medium-size productions or for the cheeses that don’t need a long stay in the salting tub. Circulation and automatic extractions of cheese in the salting tub is achieved with the help of a brine drive group and exhausting belt.
Cage salting system
It’s characterized by a lot quantity of independent cages with multi-level shelves which are immersed in the brine from a salt pond. It’s suitable for big production or for cheeses which needs a long stay storage in the salting tub. Separators movement is carried out with the help of hydraulic or electro-mechanical devices. Cheese loading, unloading and circulation in the salting tub is realized automatically with the same scheme described before.
