Fiessler presents FE-FS2-U1/SU1ASDU1-U-RD safety foot pedal that uses safety switches. Two positions are included in the left foot pedal - free and pressed down. It may be useful in selecting the bending function of AKAS® Box or a press opening. And three positions are included in the right foot pedal, including a pressure point. These help in controlling risky movements, such as getting down of a press brake. For driving of movement, it features 2 working contacts - 1NC+1NO. And for stopping the movement, it has one safety switch (1 positive opening NC contact + 1NO). For changeover of the 2 working contacts, the foot pedal should be pressed till the pressure point. Upon completion of the pressure point, the 2 working contacts get back to their original position. And to straightaway begin the risky movement, the positive opening safety contact is activated. This way, the safety circuit's redundant information can be obtained.
