Description

Suitable for filtration of magnetic and non magnetic pollutants and for treatment of large volumes of industrial coolant in reduced spaces. Filtration efficiency can be customized according to the type of permanent filter net used. ROTODRUM self-cleaning drum filters can be combined with MAGDISK magnetic separators to achieve even more efficient filtration of industrial coolants. Dirty coolant crosses the filter net covering the drum, the pollutant particles deposit on the net surface and the clean coolant passes through it into the filter. The deposited material progressively builds a layer which further serves to filter. The most effective filtration efficiency is reached when the coolant cannot pass through the net anymore. Once maximum liquid level is reached within the filter, a level device automatically starts the drum cleaning process by activating nozzles located inside the drum which wash the filter net. The sludge which has deposited at the base of the filter is conveyed to the filter's discharge point by a dredging system. At this point the coolant level lowers and the drum filter starts a new filtration cycle.
