HIE series features advanced Filtrafine pleat technology which enables to maximum the surface area, increase the dirt holding capacity and provide extended service life. HIE can be applied to wine or beer production as trap filters. In these applications, D.E. filters are commonly used. As far as D.E. fines are concerned, HIE can trap released D.E. fines and reduce the amount of micro-organisms to make sure the cleanness of downstream piping and equipment. It can also be applied to general water application in wine and brewery industries.
