Flange bearings are made up of a bearing insert and a bearing housing made of gray cast iron or cast steel, thus forming easy-to-maintain and ready-to-mount units. The spherical design of the bearing insert allows them to adjust to any tilting of the shaft. Flange bearings are particularly well-suited for high radial loads and are very robust against external resistance thanks to their gray cast iron form. Flange bearings are available in a two-hole or four-hole design.
