The FITT Sewer EVO pipe according to UNI EN 1401 for sewage and industrial drains not under pressure, guarantees superior performance thanks to the exclusive joint system with integrated, non-removable gasket. The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD®) of FITT Sewer product range is compliant with the ISO 14040 standard, based on LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology according to the international standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019. FITT Sewer EVO uses the socket joint system with mechanically hot pre-inserted gasket during the socket formation phase. The Sewer Lock® gasket is composed of a sealing element in accordance with UNI EN 681, co-molded with a stiffening ring in fiber-reinforced polypropylene. This joining system ensures the absolute immovability of the gasket and guarantees superior performance: - optimal hydraulic seal both in the presence of negative pressure and in the presence of positive pressure. Sealing performance proven by tests conducted by IIP with pressures higher than those required by the reference standard and under stress conditions (diametrical deformation and angular deflection) more severe than those required by the reference standard; - perfect functionality even in the presence of high misalignments: up to 3 ° on the joint.
