Description

FLOTTWEG HTS DECANTER® FOR SLUDGE DEWATERING HTS = Highest dry solids content The centrifuge for dewatering sewage sludge The transportation and disposal of the sewage sludge accounts for a large proportion sewage treatment plant costs. The lower the sludge volume, the lower the cost of transportation and disposal. High-performance in sludge dewatering is the decisive criterion. With a Flottweg HTS Decanter® the highest possible dry solids content is achieved in dewatered sludge, thus continuously saving transport and disposal costs. Over 50 years of experience in the dewatering of sewage sludge and ongoing development form the basis of the Flottweg HTS Decanter®. This experience combined with references from all over the world makes Flottweg one of the leading suppliers of mechanical separation technology. The HTS Decanter® impresses with its performance, efficiency and high economic benefits. How the Flottweg HTS decanter® functions The digested sludge is pumped from the digestion tower into the sludge centrifuge. This dewaters the digested sludge from 2 - 6% dry solids to 25 - 35%.Dewatering in the centrifuge is achieved by means of centrifugal force. The Flottweg HTS decanter® is adapted to the specific characteristics of the sewage sludge. The centrifuge is suitable both for the dewatering of digested sludge and for the direct dewatering of excess sludge.
