Description

Uniform feed distribution Easy to maintain Simple installation with standard connections Enhance your hydrocyclone performance with the proper manifold system Cyclone performance does not always correlate to size. A cyclone is providing proper separation might require additional capacity, installing a larger cyclone is not the answer, as performance will drop. Instead, add a manifold with two or more cyclones; you will effectively increase capacity at the desired separation. Achieve your required process capacity If your process flow exceeds the capacity of an individual cyclone, you can operate multiple cyclones in parallel on a common manifold to achieve the capacity you need. Cyclone manifolds come in a variety of configurations, including radial and inline, with a common goal of providing an even slurry flow, pressure, density and uniform distribution of particle size to each cyclone. We design our manifold systems to not only consistenly distribute the feed, but also collect the overflow and underflow products from the hydrocyclones as required for the application. For slurries that contain very fine particles combined with low solids concentrations, inline systems are fully adequate, and tend to be less expensive. Their geometry can be more conducive to connection with existing plant piping. For a mixture of fine and coarse particles and higher slurry densities, we recommend a radial system. We customise your manifold to your specific application.
