This adjustable coating head is developed by Meler. It is consisting of two autonomous sheets which can have extension starting from the center to the ends, and activated using levers located in the same side which is the operator's side. The displacement of each sheet is measured in mm, using four digit meters. In addition, the head comes with a hydraulic valve which has pneumatic activation. As an option, a pneumatically activated zoom in, zoom out retractable system comes with the product to enable the removing of the substrate from the coating lip when the machine had stopped. The standard version has a size of 20 mm up to 350 mm.
