Continuous Coating Applicators NEW RANGE Aware of the major challenges posed by industry and on the heels of significant R&D+i efforts, Focke Meler is completely updating its range of continuous coating applicators with a new design that clearly improves the quality of the application process. A NEW DESIGN The new design is highly beneficial in terms of maintaining the unit, with low prices on spare parts. Indeed, the rounded distribution channel and the geometry of the lower lip enable better adhesive flow. The flow control and amount of adhesive applied are exact. For widths of over 800 mm there is a regulation system at each end that can correct deformations caused by high temperatures, ensuring uniform high-quality coating. THERMAL OPTIMISATION The new steel body keeps temperature uniformly distributed thanks to the new layout of resistors. Temperature is controlled independently by zones for the entire range of heads and coating widths. This makes it possible to get more uniform distribution. The adhesive intake valve also has independent temperature control. CONFIGURATION FLEXIBILITY Customers can configure the head with total freedom according to their needs, selecting: coating measurements/widths, regulation, geometry of the lip position of the head, filtering, etc.
