The FOM arcRC has been designed to mimic industrial roll-based coating in a lab-friendly format. By integrating industry-grade components and a user-friendly interface, the FOM arcRC provides a seamless, accelerated user workflow and excellent control for coating a wide variety of functional materials. It is an ideal solution for users aiming to bridge the gap between fundamental research and pilot-scale production, with an emphasis on sheer and gravity effects control via variable slot-die attack positions around the coating roll.
Lab-friendly roll-to-roll processing tool
Multiple slot-die positions and angles
Coating area 200 x 1000mm
Drum enabled with temperature control
Minimized experiment-to-experiment downtime through an active cooling system
Multi-coating techniques equipment (Slot-die coating, blade-coating, flexographic-printing)
Easy alignment of multiple layers
COMPACT LAB SCALE SLOT DIE COATING SYSTEM
Originally designed for OPV and LEC research, the FOM arcRC is ideal for researchers who wish to work with flexible substrates or scale up from spin coating.
SOLUTION PROCESSING
The FOM arcRC allows to test the solution processing of materials with respect to the production of multiple devices, film forming and roll-to-toll compatibility. It provides hands-on research coating. Currently the FOM arcRC is used for perovskite PV, OPV, OLEDs, thin-film sensors and functional material technologies in general where solution processing is applicable.
