Formeco evaporators allow to treat the waste stream separating water from contaminants. The technology is based on boiling the waste water exploiting an external source of hot water or steam; this water, once distilled, is replaced in the production line whereas the contaminant, now very concentrated, can be disposed at relatively low cost. Characterized by a simple construction and easy to manage, they guarantee high daily production thanks to the excellent water / steam heat exchange coefficient. A drastic reduction of energy consumption can be achieved with double-effect units (up to 50%) or triple effects units (up to 65%) together with a significant increase of the purity of the distillate.
