The BM (Mechanical Bolt Interlock) is used to interlock circuit breakers, valves, earth switches etc. It's used where hazards need to be indirectly interlocked.

The BM(S) (full stainless steel) mechanical lock modules are suitable for use in all Ex hazardous areas. These products are completely inert and do not require power or generate any heat. All materials have been fully tested and confirmed as non sparking on impact.
