The FT 122 Fibertec™ is a manual fibre determination system for simple determination of crude fibre, detergent fibre and more, according to standard reference crucible methods such as Weende, van Soest etc.
Value
An easy way to secure consistent analytical results with repeatable determination of fibre content according to Weende, van Soest and other recognised methods.
Sample type
Feed, feed ingredients, forage, pet food, grain, cereal and oil seeds.
Parameters
Crude Fibre (CF), Neutral Detergent Fibre (NDF), Acid Detergent Fibre (ADF) and Acid Detergent Lignin (ADL).
In addition we offer the FT 121 Cold Extraction Unit. It can be used in combination with the FT 122 for de-fatting samples and extraction at ambient temperatures and solvent dehydration of fibre residues. It can also be used in connection with the fully automated Fibertec 8000.
Batch handling tools improve operator safety when handling hot crucibles, processing up to 6 samples at a time.
Both units, FT 121 and FT 122 Fibertec™, are adapted to the same crucible system that permits the sample, whenever required, to be dried and weighed between extractions. In the system the samples are handled in specially designed filter crucibles, which are used both as an integral part of an extraction assembly during extraction, rinsing and filtering, and as a sample vessel during the weighing, drying and ashing steps.
