CZ 80 is suitable for bonding thermoplastic rubber to leather, fabric, leather by sole direct injection. Properties Composition : synthetic rubber and resins in a blend of organic solvents. Mode of setting : solvent release Colour : opalescent, clear Solvent : aliphatic hydrocarbons and ketons Components : one-part adhesive ready to use; It can be used with the addition of 3-4% of Desmodur® RFE to improve the adhesion and the heat resi stance Pot life : 2 hours with the addition of the Accelerator. Technical data Solids content : 28 - 33% Viscosity : 1000 - 1500 mPa.s (Brookfield sp.4 speed 50 at 25°C) Method of use 1. Leather uppers should be carefully roughed and brushed. 2. Apply by brush a coat of adhesive. Onto very absorbing material it is reliable to apply a second coat of CZ 80 after some minutes. 3. After a drying time of about 10 minutes inject the TR rubber compound in the mould. Working with hot last or with accelerated drying it is possible to shorten the waiting time to a few minutes. When the adhesive is used as one component, it is possible to process materials precoated many days in advance. When using it with the crosslinker, the injection should be done within 48 hours.
