The MS sealants adhere to many materials without primer. Experience and laboratory tests have shown that on some porous substrates adhesion develops through pretreatment with Primer both during bonding and sealing phases. Primer LM BV is specific for the treatment of porous surfaces such as wood and wood derivatives, teak seams for ships, cement, concrete and other materials commonly used in building. The primer gives stability and high adhesion in conditions of high humidity and temperature range. Characteristics Packaging : cod. 1103252 50 gr. glass bottle cod. 1103251 800 gr. plastic bottle Method of use Surface preparation: the primer must be applied on clean and dry surfaces. In presence of oily matters, the substrates must be cleaned with a wad soaked in ST 513 solvent. Application: the package must be kept well closed until it is used. Do not use Primer LM BV directly from the original package. Pour as much primer as can be used within 30 minutes into a suitable clean glass container or tin and close immediately. Only clean brush must be used. Apply a thin and even coat. Application temperature range is from +5°C and +30°C. MS series sealants can be applied after a drying time of about 20 minutes. The best results are obtained by applying the sealant within 6 hours from Primer LM BV drying. It is not recommended the application onto surfaces that have not to be sealed in this time. Coverage: 3-5 m²/lt, depending on the substrate porosity. Cautions Avoid bare hand contact with the surface treated with Primer LM BV as contamination with greasy substances can reduce sealant adhesion.
