Innovative technical textiles for medical products Hydrophilic Polyurethane foams offer superior absorbency and comfort making them a perfect choice for e. g. wound dressing. Thanks to their excellent absorption and retention characteristics these foams can absorb 20 times their own weight in fluid- features that enable them to set high standards in the medical field. Our „pour to thickness“ manufacturing process allows us to produce in a wide range of thicknesses, from 1.5 mm to 7.0 mm. The thin foams can be combined with nonwovens to form multi-layer constructions, e. g. for medical applications, such as low profile wound dressings. Technical materials for advanced applications In our innovative pilot line antimicrobial or other additives can be integrated in a real production environment.
