AF is a drying system for cold cuts, which is ideal for rooms with height restrictions. Its distinguishing feature lies in position of the Air Treatment Unit and air distribution and recovery ducts on the ceiling, which optimises the space inside the chamber, thus containing the required height. Air Treatment Unit: The ATU is applied to the ceiling of the chamber and is complete with centrifugal fans and evaporation coils for thermal exchange. Hot air is obtained through the aid of electrical resistance or by means of an external heating system. Ventilation system: The main function of the ventilation system is based on the continuous circulation of air. During the ”flow” of air emitted by the side ducts, which are connected to a ventilated section equipped with a regulation flow valve to constantly regulate the intake of air inside it, goes down until it meets the vents that guide it towards the trolleys, forcing the flow to evenly ventilate the product. During the ”return” phase, air is sucked up by ducts placed over the trolleys and ends its journey by returning to the Air Treatment Unit (ATU) from where it started. Electronic control: The control system is composed of a power panel controlled by a user terminal with a coloured touch-screen display. By following the simple instructions of the tailor-made software developed for the terminals from our company, the user can control the system, set the parameters of three different operating modes (manual, semi-automatic, automatic) and all the other advanced functions (air exchange, work pauses, etc.).
