Description

Frontier's HQ series of wire-wound ceramic chip inductors was developed to meet the growing need for higher Q values and higher current ratings on components. Compared to the competition and to our C (gold plated termination) and CP (tin plated termination) series of WW chip inductors, the HQ series has a Q value that is 50% higher on average and a current rating that is 25% higher on average. Wire wound chip inductors are used in high-frequency circuits up to several GHz. The ceramic core affords a high Q value for use in high-frequency circuits and equipment such as cellular/mobile phones, wireless LAN, antenna matching in PA circuits, etc.
