Description

The roller system MobyDick Duo is a high-performing and compact wheel washing system consisting of a 86 inch long wash unit with rollers and an integrated recycling tank with scraper conveyor. The rollers allow the simultaneous turning and intensive cleaning of the wheels of two axles with spacing of 43 to 59 inch. Even sticky dirt between the twin tires and in the treads is reliably washed out. The ideal solution for stationary or mobile use with heavy soiling. Installation takes just a few hours and only requires a small space. Function description A truck drives slowly onto the rollers of the wheel washing system. The start bars between the rollers automatically trigger the washing process. The specially designed nozzle system consisting of floor and side nozzles ensures intensive cleaning of all tires of an axle or double-axle (axle spacing: 43 to 59 in) and of the chassis. The truck then drives with the wheels of the next axle/ double-axle onto the rollers of the wheel washing system. Higher areas of the vehicle like windows and rear-view mirrors are not washed, keeping the driver’s vision clear. The duration of the washing process is freely selectable based on conditions with the time relay switch installed in the control cabinet. The soiled water flows directly into the integrated recycling tank. The solid dirt settles to the bottom. The water is led to the pump chamber. There it is reused by the two robust MobyPump immersion pumps for further spraying. The two scraper conveyors remove the settled solids from the recycling tank.
