With the rise in the wearable technology market, FSL Electronics has launched its first range of WEARABLE Industrial Remote Control for wearing on wrist, arm, belt or lanyard. For many of us, when we think of wearable technology, we think in terms of gadgets aimed at the fitness market or techies who want to view text messages and weather forecasts on their watch. However, FSL have taken the industry one step further by introducing the new range of wearables into industrial applications. Just like the main stream industrial remote control systems that FSL design and manufacture, the wearable controller can be installed on a wide range of machinery & equipment, for almost any application which can help to improve efficiency with safe, practical and reliable remote operation. With a maximum of 3 functions available, new wearable remote control system can allow for On / Off, Start/Stop, Up /Down, Left/Right functions and more importantly a safety all stop function. The new range of controllers have an ergonomically contoured design which is very comfortable to hold or wear. Current users of the FSL Minigrip Radio range will have the capability of introducing the new wearable controller into their existing systems to use in tandem with their Minigrip handset, by simply pairing the device to the receiver already in place.
