The DOSER GDSA has the aim of extracting and adjusting well-defined quantities of product. In its standard type, it is made of an upper container where the product to be dosed is manually stocked or automatically loaded. Generally, it contains a motorized reel that maintains the product fluid and ensures that it is unloaded. Underneath that it is placed an extraction screw conveyor, which is controlled by a gear motor, that pulls out and measure the needed quantity proportionally to the speed of its rotation. Thanks to a frequency variator, it is possible to change the capacity at will. The unloading capacity is proportional to the speed of the screw conveyor and the calculation is volumetric. The doser can be placed above one or more load cells in order to obtain a higher level of accuracy, independently from the density of the product itself. In doing so it is possible to check ponderably, through an electronic controller, the instant capacity of the machine, and also to modify the extraction speed according to the actual needs. This machine can be used for a great quantity of materials, very different from each other as for characteristics and density, with dosable amounts that can range from few grams to several kilos. Therefore, it can be built in various dimensions and shapes. For some hard-to-flow products, a double extraction screw conveyor might be required.
