Description

Bogie hearth furnace for heating large ingots up to 1300°C and for forging. Internal design includes heating system designed for maximum efficiency; strategically placed pipework for easy maintenance at all stages; equipment strategically located in accessible and ergonomic areas; 100m2 furnace roof housing all control and regulation equipment for burners and changeover valves; safe access via stepladder and central walkway to reach all instruments. Equipped with 22 pairs of flat-flame regenerative burners mounted on both walls, top and bottom, to improve heat transfer to the ingots. The same furnace can be used to perform heat treatments of large forgings from 600°C upwards, as it features thermal uniformity performance in accordance with industry standards. The burners with ceramic ball regenerators ensure extremely low gas consumption; the ceramic balls require cleaning at a yearly (maximum) interval.
