The KC transmitters are supplied with a robust, pressure die-cast aluminium housing and a stainless steel tube. They can measure relative humidity and temperature, in air and other non-aggressive gases, for operating temperatures up to 125 °C. These sensors are ideally suited to industrial applications, e.g. drying processes. Capacitive MELA® sensorchips Equipped with the highly dynamic capacitive MELA® sensor element, the sensor provides reliable performance across the full humidity range. Using the MELA® sensor element ensures long-term stability, resistance to dew formation, minimal hysteresis, and strong dynamic capabilities.
