Calcium Fluoride offers Low Absorption and High Transmission. UV Grade Calcium Fluoride can be used down to 160n IR grade can be used for Applications Ranging from 250nm through to 8μm Calcium fluoride's low refractive index allows it to be used without an anti-reflective coating. Windows manufactured from vacuum UV grade calcium fluoride are commonly found in cryogenically cooled thermal imaging systems.
